Workplace design is more than just the efficiency of your space, it’s about getting the most out of your team.
That’s why we centre workers.

 

the process / what you get:

Free Pre-Consultation (Research & Interview)

You tell us about your office—about your space, what you do, how you work & how this might change over time. We will then provide some initial suggestions, ideas and a quote for your specific space, for approval.

This will be done on the phone or by video call.

  1. 1-2hr Site Visit, Consultation & Design Session at your office (or by video call)

    We will discuss with you one or more layout suggestions:

    • A first, for implementation now, with minimal costs to implement, working with what you have (and a few additional pieces)

    • A second, for implementation later, with an even more effective use of your space—though also involving more substantial changes (and potentially costs)

    • In addition, we may offer some affordable furniture ideas, and maybe even materials to consider

  2. Post-Consultation (Space Planning & Performance Document)

    We will provide you with the following documentation:

    • Conceptual layout of your space in PDF, A4 format—highlighting how each space will function efficiently and what kind of elements it will need to do so

    • A summary of notes and additional ideas from the session

    • The entire process from Pre-Consultation to Document delivery should take about 1 week, depending on client availability

What You Won’t Get:

You won’t be getting a ‘design,’ in the conventional sense, with specific finishes or expensive, bespoke details. Instead, you’ll be leveraging our years of practical design experience with a series of targeted, suggested changes, made with consideration to your current (and future) means.

You won’t be getting a big contract to sign. This process allows you to receive our most high-value advice while paying for minimal production costs. We will mainly consider solutions that can be done in a DIY fashion, either by the yourself or a handyperson, to give you total control over implementation costs.

You won’t be tied to us in the future. You will receive everything we produce in one clear package so that, once you’re ready, you may use this as a starting point or programme brief to begin a complete office fit-out—either with us or another designer.

 

cost:

Approx. $900 - $1,500 CAD for a 4-8 person office
(varies depending on the size & scope of the project; travel extra outside of the City of Toronto)
